I was a regular at the De Young Museum.
Warhol, YSL, Balenciaga, Jean Paul Gaultier,
exhibits featuring all the textiles of the world,
college - level presentations, you name it.
I was there!
(And at the Japanese Tea Gardens just next door.)
Next month, the De Young is hosting
"The Art of Bulgari: La Dolce Vita & Beyond
1950-1990".
Included are 150 heightened pieces from the collection,
including a few of Elizabeth Taylor's original pieces.
As a huge fan of the museum, its' exhibits,
and costume jewelry of any kind,
I wish I could be there.
