for a very long time. I spend a lot of time collaging, painting,
and playing with images and pieces that I'm inspired by.
I have a lot of books from the past, (that I will scan in when
I get a free moment), but for now, I wanted to share a couple of
still life inspiration pages, and the pages I created for my next
upcoming photo shoot - African tribal inspired!
(Inspirational artist for my still life shoot was Erin Rachel Hudak.
View her incredible work here.)
ALSO - my birthday is coming up soon (March 24th! hence my nickname,
'The Ram' - Aries time is almost upon us!), and I just found out
I'm going to be flying out to NYC for three days for a certain
interview! I don't want to jinx it, so I'm going to let you all
know about it how it went (and hopefully have lovely photos
attached) when I return! :)
I decided to grab myself a hotel, since it'll be my birthday,
and I'm going to go out with friends from my old job that recently
moved to NYC. I'm so excited. I could seriously be all alone in that
city and be totally happy.
Also, seeing Lady Gaga on Tuesday. With my recently crazed school
schedule, I haven't had time to create my new costume. :(
So, I'm going to put as much time into it as I can this weekend.
The concept is an Aries dedication - both Gaga and I are Aries sun signs
with our moons in Scorpio. (I'm really into astrology, and her & I have a lot
in common. I love it.) I have some moldable metal mesh material that I've
sculpted into Ram's horns. They attach to my head, and I was going to build
an insanely shaped hip bustle, with the entire look in monochromatic RED.
(The color of our fire sign!) So, we'll see how much I get done. Details and
hopefully images to follow!
Enjoy the photos, keep dressing up every day, and don't forget to dance.
